2. How to make salt and pepper toast
Step 1: Make the sauce
Put 30g butter in a saucepan and melt, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Then, add sugar, salt, paprika, chili sauce, satay and mix well until the sauce is a bit thick, then turn off the heat.
Step 2: Make onion fat
Put the cooking oil in the pan, when the oil is hot, add the chopped scallions. Green onions are picked up, washed, and chopped with a knife. Put cooking oil and 70g butter in a pan, wait until the butter melts, then add green onions, fry until fragrant and pour into a bowl.
Step 3: Toast
Use a rolling pin to flatten the bread to about 1cm. Spread butter and melted scallions on both sides of the bread. Next, spread the sauce mixture above on the bread.
Place in the oven at 150 degrees Celsius for 14-15 minutes. If using a charcoal oven, bake until golden on both sides.
